    Product Description

    Concrete Hardener is a superior, clear concrete surface densifier formulated to harden concrete surfaces, increase abrasion resistance and reduce dusting.

    A penetrating sodium silicate solution that “soaks” into concrete beneath the surface to create a calcium silicate hydrate to fill voids, create strength and durability. Ideal for use in garages, driveways, pathways etc that have a dusting problem or as a denisfier for polished concrete floors or “soft” concrete.

    *Note: Silicate’s will etch glass or raw aluminium, rinse off immediately and dry.

    APPLICATION:

    • Concrete Hardener is a simple spray applied application.
    • All applications must be scrubbed to remove any excess product not absorbed into the concrete before it dries on the surface.
    • If excess is not removed, there is potential risk of surface whiting, or discoloration.
    • Agitate the Concrete Hardener prior to use.
    • Apply Concrete Hardener with a low-pressure sprayer or scrubber at approximately 4m2 – 6m2 per ltr (porosity dependent).
    • The substrate must be kept wet with material for 20 minutes. If an area begins to dry, re-mist with Concrete Hardener.
    • Do not add any water to the material or to the surface being treated.
    • Let the surface dry without any puddling by brooming the product around if necessary.
    • After the material dries, clean up any excess material with a scrubber.
    • Allow Concrete Hardener to dry for one hour before allowing any foot traffic.
    • Concrete Hardener should be free from contact with water for the initial 24 hours in ambient temperature to allow cure time.
    • After 24 hours, the surface treated can be damp mopped or scrubbed with an auto scrubber and pH neutral cleaner.

      I used on my garage floor to stop the dust and seal it. It stopped the dust but the floor still stains. I think i should have used a sealer over the top of it?
